Pari Mahal of Kashmir once served as the royal observatory. Situated near the Chashmashahi Mughal Garden, Pari Mahal has a beautiful and well-planned garden in its front Dara Shikoh, the eldest son of Mughal Emperor Shahjahan, converted it into a school of astrology.The Place is actually named after the Pari Begm , Dard Shukos Wife. From terrace of garden one can see the whole Srinagar & beautiful Dal-lake.Year of set up: 1650 AD
