Itinerary
On arrival at leh airport which is 3500 Mtrs. above sea level. Meet our representative who will escort you to Hotel. Complete day for the acclimatization. In the evening short walk around Leh bazaar. Overnight at Hotel.
Day excursion to the famous monasteries, it is interesting to visit early in the morning to enjoy the praying ceremony at Thiksey monastery. Continue drive to Hemis monastery which is one of the most famous monasteries of the Ladakh region. On the way back visit to Shey Palace. Overnight at Hotel.
Early breakfast drive 125 kms, crossing over the world’s highest motorable road – Khardungla Pass 18360 ft, and enter Nubra Valley. Visit Diskit & Hunder Monasteries and white sand dunes with perhaps a Camel Safari. Overnight at the Camp.
Early breakfast & visit Panamik the village thermal HOT SPRINGS locally reputed to have therapeutic qualities. Drive back to Leh via Khardungla pass, gateway to Siachen glacier. Overnight at the hotel.
After breakfast half day visit to Shanti stupa, Leh Palace & Stok Palace. Evening free for personal activities. Overnight at the hotel.
Leave early morning to Pangong Lake through Changla pass 5486 Mtrs. While ascending Changla pass 5486 Mtrs. Enjoy the beautiful panoramic view of the villages below the pass. This famous blue brackish Lake of Pangong is 5/6 Kms wide and over 144 Kms long with half of it’s running the other side of the “INDO CHINA BORDER”. In the late afternoon drive back to Leh. Overnight at Hotel.
Transfer to the Airport to connect onwards destination flight.
