About 112 kms from Jammu, the famous hill resort of Patnitop is perched on a beautiful plateau, across which the Jammu-Srinagar highway passes. Altitude 2079 M Ahead, at a distance of about 19 Kms from Patnitop, is Sanasar (2079 m), a satellite resort of Patnitop, with a cup-shaped meadow surrounded by gigantic conifers. A place for a quiet holiday, the meadow has now been developed as a golf course.There are several walks in the surrounding hills. The resort itself is ideal for paragliding. A small lake which actually is named as sansar is at middle of the meadow amidst pine trees.
- Kud :
At A distance of of 6 km s before Patnitop, kud is famous for sweet shop that makes hot and fresh Patisa that is very popular with the tourists.. The Scenic beauty of the Kud valley is most captivating presenting the Panaromic views of the Terraced Shivalik Hills.
- Batotoe:
It is located on the National Highway from Jammu to Srinagar.It is 4 kms from Patnitop. There is a sharp descent road to Batote from Patnitop. Batote is very famous for its beauty and weather. Many people come here to spent their summer vaccation and enjoy its cool and pleasant weather..Some famous places of Batote are Baghu Nallah, Tringla , Boon Badi etc. The region is also famous for its high quality kidney beans or Rajma Chawal.
